Tech Café : Connecting With Friends and Coworkers Using Your iPhone or iPad

Logo for Tech cafe showing computer and ebook reader

As we live in a more socially-distanced world, connecting online is all the more important for keeping in touch.  There are many ways of using your iPhone or your iPad to connect with others.  Join us to learn the basics of staying in touch with friends, family and colleagues by using an iPhone or iPad to do a video call, an audio call, or a text chat. We will go over Apple’s Facetime and Messages as well as a small selection of other communication apps.

Dave Rostenne and Thomas Leroux have been the organizers of the the Bytown Mac Users Group (ByMUG) since 2006. They are experts in using Apple products and will live demo using these apps and answer your questions. Both have been technology consultants for two decades, primarily focused on Apple-based solutions.
