Teen Advisory Group (TAG)

Are you between the ages of 14 and 18, want to earn community involvement hours, build leadership skills and meet new teens in your area? If so, come to the OPL and become a member of TAG!

TAGs:

  • Have their say in which activities and services are offered to teens
  • Help plan and implement them
  • Help design Teen Zones
  • Participate in focus groups related to the Teen section of the OPL website
  • Read advance copies of Teen fiction books and write reviews
  • Speak about OPL teen services to the media
  • Advise the Library about new collections and suggest titles to buy

They also build marketable skills in:

  • Project management
  • Marketing
  • Time management
  • Public speaking
