Teen Tech Week Video Contest

OPL celebrates technology and teens during Teen Tech Week (TTW), which will take place from March 5 -11, 2017.

This initiative is aimed at teens, librarians, educators and parents who are interested in the Library’s non-print resources.

During this week, OPL wants to raise awareness among teens about all its digital offerings, including e-Books, OPL blogs, Hoopla, Zinio , Lynda.com, Freegal, the OPL app, and the newly expanded OPL Makerspace: the Imagine Space, by launching its 7th annual video contest.

Submissions will be accepted from March 5 to April 3.  The grand prize winner will be awarded an Apple iPad and a prize pack from SAW Video!  Each submission will automatically be entered into a wild card draw.

On Friday, April 28th at 7:30 pm the Top 10 Finalists will be announced at an Awards Night & Video Screening at the Centrepointe Studio Theatre.  Watch the winning videos on the big screen! The finalists will be invited to attend by email but the order of the prizes will not be revealed until the Awards Night. Everyone is welcome at this red carpet event.
