Allison Hall-Murphy is the Teen Librarian at the Greenboro branch, as well as the selector for all English Teen materials. She enjoys reading, talking about books and watching trashy tv—especially reality shows and crime dramas. She likes books that feel true, whether they are hilarious, intense or otherworldly. Allison’s favourite teen reads include Frank Portman’s King Dork, The Boyfriend List by E. Lockhart, The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Age 13 ¾ by Sue Townsend and His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman, but she’ll also read anything by Sarah Dessen, John Green or Blake Nelson.
