Virtual Death Café # 7

Hands holding coffee cups

At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to discuss death.  Our objective is to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.  A Death Cafe is a group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes.

During these uncertain times, having a safe and non-judgmental space is even more important as we grapple with what life looks like today and how it is affecting both our living and our dying.

Even in these uncertain times, one certainty remains...talking about death and dying.

Ottawa Public Library and Home Hospice Association are partnering to hold a Death Café online in Ottawa on Zoom.  This will be shorter than an in-person café, but we have scheduled it to fit it into the middle of your day as many of you have flexible hours during this period of distancing.
