The Time Machine

“Today, I read many things.

This morning I woke up and read the time on my alarm clock several times. I also read my emails as well as all my news on Facebook, making sure I didn't miss anything super exciting during the night. Aside from finding out that someone was excited by the snow and that someone else was missing her boyfriend, no life changing posts were read.Fahrenheit 451

When I went to school, I read a few chapters of The Time Machine by H.G. Wells. I also read a few pages of the novel Fahrenheit 451 for my English class assignment. Then I went home and read The Awakening by Kelley Armstrong, for the millionth time.

I love reading because it is the best way to escape from a normalThe Awakening life. In just a few pages, you're no longer just a teenage girl living in Ottawa, but a traveller going through time and meeting all these new people and having the biggest adventures. You're a girl with powers to raise the dead, on the run with sorcerers, witches, demons, werewolves and ghosts. You're anything you want to be, because you don't have to be normal in a book. I think that everyone should experience such things, and that can only be done by reading.”
