    Des services en personne additionnels, comme la consultation de la collection, l’utilisation des ordinateurs avec rendez-vous, sont maintenant offerts à vingt (20) succursales, pendant de nouvelles heures d’ouverture. Voir la liste des succursales et services offerts.

    L’emplacement temporaire Rosemount et la succursale Metcalfe offre le service de retour et de collecte d’articles réservés. À compter du mercredi 9 septembre, il n’est pas necessaire de prendre rendez-vous pour récupérer les articles réservés à ces succursales. Voir les détails du service à ces deux succursales.

    Le Bibliobus offre maintenant le service de retour et de collecte d’articles réservés sans contact à dix (10) arrêts, selon un horaire modifié. Voir l’horaire du Bibliobus.

    Le port du masque est obligatoire dans les succursales de la Bibliothèque publique d'Ottawa, conformément au Règlement temporaire sur le port obligatoire d’un masque.

In conversation with Tobly McSmith, author of Stay Gold

Join local host, Fae Johnstone for a conversation with author Tobly McSmith about his debut YA novel, Stay Gold.

The novel follows the story of Pony and Georgia. Told in two voices, Pony, who is concealing his transgender identity at his new Texas high school, and Georgia, a cisgender cheerleader counting the days until she graduates, develop a complicated relationship.

This event is scheduled to take place in conjunction with the Capital Pride's Youth Got Pride virtual events taking place on Monday, August 24th between 3-5:30 pm.

Registration is not required, but may be helpful! Register on Eventbrite to receive an email reminder on the day of the event. The Facebook Live link will be made available on August 18.

Tobly McSmith is the co-creator/writer of seven musical parodies, including Friends! The Musical Parody. Tobly was born in Texas. He now lives in New York City with his two cats, Buster and Bananas McSmith. Tobly is proud to be transgender.

About the moderator

Fae Johnstone is a local public speaker, consultant, educator and community organizer. As an activist and educator, her areas of expertise include 2SLGBTQ+ and trans inclusion, social policy, child and youth mental health, sex education and anti-oppression.
