Eden’s King has been murdered. It’s heir to the throne dead as well. Thankfully, the late crown prince wasn’t the late King’s only child. He had a younger brother and sister: twins, Carys and Andreus. However, that’s where the line of succession gets blurry. Facing no other options, Carys and Andreus must compete for the throne in the Trials of Succession. Now, the kingdom of Eden will see just how strong  the bonds of trust and family are in the face of power...or not.

Diving Eden by Joelle Charbonneau is a young adult fantasy novel. The characters are unique and intelligent. The plot is interesting and unpredictable. Overall, it’s a tale depicting sibling rivalry at its finest.

I give this novel a 3 out of 5 stars and would recommend it to fantasy loving readers.

The book is recommended for ages 12 and up.
