New Entrepreneurs of Ottawa Networking (NEON) Event

Hands clasped in greeting

Are you a new entrepreneur?  Are you thinking of starting a business?  Do you want to network with entrepreneurs in the community?  Join us for the seventh annual New Entrepreneurs of Ottawa Networking (NEON) Event!  NEON brings small business owners together with the goal to find inspiration in one another and at the same time obtain relevant information.

Opening the evening is a keynote speaker, Antoine Carrière of Entrepreneur Lifestyle, talking about Why go into Business.

The panel of entrepreneurs this year represents businesses from different sectors.  They will share their experience and answer questions from the audience about starting and running a business.

Panelists:

  • Karla Briones, serial entrepreneur, New Canadian Entrepreneur
  • Liisa Vexler, Ausome Ottawa
  • Shauna Pollock, Blue Sky School
  • Andrew Ralph, Signal 88 Security

The trade show following the panel discussion allows attendees to ask questions of the many local organizations who provide services to the business community and get advice.

Recommended dress code: business casual. Bring your business cards.

Held in the Chamber and Atrium of Ben Franklin Place. Organized by Ottawa Public Library, Invest Ottawa, Ottawa Community Loan Fund, Futurpreneur, CollabSpace, IgniteAC, World Skills, and In-TAC.
