We are told: don't write down passwords; don't reuse passwords; make passwords long and complex. Chris Taylor, President of the Ottawa PC Users' Group will show how to use free software that stores all your usernames and passwords along with related information and protects them with a single, very strong password. Don't let your online accounts get compromised. It's easy and free.

180 minutesJoin local author Sneha Madhavan-Reese for “Using Science in Poems.”
How can the use of scientific language elevate a poem? How can science be used as a handhold to bring a reader someplace new and unexpected? How can scientific facts in a poem add layers of meaning?
We will read and discuss published poems, have time for writing and sharing (if desired), and workshop a poem by each participant.
Please bring writing materials and a poem of your own (on any subject) for feedback from the group.
Sneha Madhavan-Reese is the author of two poetry collections, Observing the Moon and Elementary Particles. Her writing has appeared in publications around the world, including The Best Canadian Poetry in English 2016. 120 minutesAlready played some DnD and looking for a game to join? Give this one-session-long adventure a try!
D&D is a popular fantasy role-playing game in which your characters explore, solve puzzles, and fight or outwit monsters. Meet new players as you undertake an adventure in this popular game!
For this adventure, you must build your own Level 2 character, so you must register at least 6 days in advance to create your character and submit their character-sheet for DM approval before game-day. Late registrants will be assigned a random pre-generated character.
Ages: 12-18
Note: this session is a repeat of the adventure played on April 13th, so if you played that session, it would not be as fun knowing the puzzles and enemies ahead of time. Keep an eye out for a new game coming up later!
