Do you love birds as much as we do? Come join us for an exciting kids workshop all about our feathered friends! In this workshop, we’ll learn about different birds in our community, their unique characteristics and how to identify them by sight and sound. This workshop encourages students to look at the shapes, colours and patterns used in the works on display in the Ottawa Art Gallery’s Norman Takeuchi exhibition, Shape in Between: Norman Takeuchi- A Retrospective. We will then apply the principles and elements of design we discussed using Norman Takeuchi’s work in the creation of a series of handmade stickers.
