In honour of our earth, let's do some green-minded crafting. We will read a storybook, sing a song and recycle and re-purpose old CDs into beautiful suncatchers.

Join us for a special Star Wars themed edition of DIY Craft Day!
Come and make a craft at the library. We provide the supplies and you provide the creativity and imagination!
Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
While supplies last. This program is best for ages 4-10.

60 minutesAges 6 - 12 years old (we will have crafts for younger siblings too).
Learn to speak Wookie (or Wookie sounds): make your own loyal Droid Cubecraft; test a saber in dual circle; complete a scavenger hunt; learn the planets in the Star Wars universe; fly your plane through the death star and knock down some Stormtroopers. For the younger ones: make a Chewbacca puppet and a yoda or lei bun headband. Origami Yoda awaits you! (yes, we have to say it: May the 4th be with you!).

Drop in to our branch during the day and exchange puzzles with other members of our community.
Bring one, take one. Bring two, take two!
If you are ready to let go of some gently used puzzles ahead of time, please drop them off at the desk on the 2nd floor starting June 12th during opening hours. This will help us prepare for the big day!
