Join us for a free screening of Sound of Metal (2019) on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 5:30pm in Room 1B at the Nepean Centrepointe branch of the Ottawa Public Library. Popcorn and beverages will be provided.
Darius Marder's Academy Award-winning film, Sound of Metal, stars Riz Ahmed in an intense, committed performance as a drummer who loses his hearing and comes to discover deafness not as a disability but as a rich culture and community. The film is 120 minutes. In English.
