Celebrate "May the 4th Be With You" with a screening of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.

Thirty years after the defeat of the Galactic Empire, Han Solo and his young allies face a new threat from the evil Kylo Ren and the First Order. 

Rated PG.

This year, May the 4th is both Free Comic Book Day AND Star Wars Day! Stupendous!!

While comic books are always free at the library (as long as you return them, of course) we also want to celebrate this occasion. So join us this morning at the library for some geeky (and family friendly) arts and crafts:

• Super hero themed face painting (10:30 am to noon)
• Star Wars themed colouring and crafts (10:30 to 1PM)
• Make your own button with comic book art (10:30 to 1PM)

Bonus points for anyone who shows up in costume or cosplay!!

Drop in to play, make and read! For ages 4-12. Please note that staff will not supervise activities.
