This year, May the 4th is both Free Comic Book Day AND Star Wars Day! Stupendous!!

While comic books are always free at the library (as long as you return them on their due date, of course), we also want to celebrate this occasion. So join us this morning at the library for some geeky (and family friendly) arts and crafts:

• Superhero themed face painting (10:30 am to noon)
• Star Wars themed colouring and crafts (10:30 to 1PM)
• Make your own button with comic book art (10:30 to 1PM)
• Draw your own comic - and make copies to exchange with friends!

Bonus points for anyone who shows up in costume or cosplay!!

The Ottawa Municipal Liaisons of NaNoWriMo would like to invite you to join them for a monthly recurring write-in to help you keep up your writing habits during the months that are not November.

Bring your pen, paper, laptop, ideas, write besides other writers and participate in challenges!
