Let's be honest, while many of us have to stay at home and break our usual routines, your four legged furry companion now has you all to themselves and are probably quite happy about it.
No more leaving them for work or school or to run errands around the city. Dogs are loyal creatures and they want love in return.... but what do you do when that love becomes an "in your face, unrelenting, stage five clinger" kind of love? I don't know about you, but working from home, my dog now thinks I am here to play with him every minute of every day. You may even start to notice your four legged pal testing you and your limits with all the extra time you're spending together. It is important to remember that our dogs are also creatures of habit and require a daily routine. They need play time and exercise, of course, but they also need quiet down time for them to rest and clearly defined limits set for acceptable behaviour.
In terms of dog training and understanding the underlying behaviours of your favourite furry beast, this time together can be a blessing and used as a learning opportunity. With E-Books accessible through our online catalogue, you and your best pal will become closer than ever! Whether you're interested in knowing how to have a happy dog, training your dog, learning about your dog's behaviour or learning one Vet's opinion on all of the above; these books are a great read!
