For teens aged 12 to 17. The film is rated PG-13 (Disturbing Images|All Involving Teens|Intense Violent Thematic Material). Viewer discretion is advised. It runs for 2 hours and 26 minutes.     Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a Victor's Tour of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell); a competition that could change Panem forever.

As they explore these questions through games and investigations, kids can enjoy a face-to-face visit with a rabbit, and pet its soft fur through this program with the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum. Family program for ages 4+.

    A Digital Story is a powerful Media and Digital Literacy activity, created by weaving digital photographs, video, voice, text and music into a digital video project. Participants will get the chance to reflect on the self and identity.

    This personal narrative documentary workshop provides an easily-accessible opportunity to reflect on your own strengths, culture, responsibilities, and dreams for your future. For ages 13-18.

    A Library Chromebook will be available for each participant during the program. 

    The presenter will be virtual on Zoom.

    • Monday: Pre-Production: Brainstorming ideas, Storyboarding our narration.
    • Wednesday: Production: Photography Composition, collecting elements we need.
    • Friday: Post-Production: Recording our voice, using iMovie to edit, adding sound & titles.
