    This session is for high school students who intend to go to post-secondary schooling. You will learn about money management and how to plan for school. Topics covered include goal setting, basics about credit and basics about student loans. 

    Presented by the Credit Counselling Society.

    Registration required. Registrants will receive an additional email with the Zoom link ahead of the program.

    Drop by to play some of the many games on our Oculus Rift system! Explore mountains or deep seas, ride roller coasters, soar as an eagle, challenge your agility with Beat Saber or Fruit Ninja, defend your castle as an archer or your spaceship with a laser, and many more! 

    All games are single-player with English dialogue/text.

    How it works: drop in during the session and write your name on the sign-up sheet to reserve a 10-minute time-slot (no sign-ups ahead of time)

    Safety tip: to prevent falls, wear closed flat shoes, not flip-flops or high heels

    Ages: 10 to Adult (headset may be too large to fit smaller players)

Inspired by the playful sculptures and drawings of Russell Yuristy, come play with some clay and sculpt your own imaginary critter. Ages 7-12. | Si on fusionnait un éléphant et un saumon, de quoi aurait l’air ce nouvel animal? Inspirés par les sculptures et dessins ludiques de Russell Yuristy, nous jouerons avec de l’argile pour sculpter nos propres créatures imaginaires. Pour les 7 à 12 ans.

    Welcome some poultry from the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum into your library visit! Listen to them cluck and coo, touch their soft feathers and watch them scratch and peck. Through fun educational activities, students explore the characteristics, needs and lifecycle of these barnyard favourites. Family program for ages 4+.
