    Learn the basics of how to weave a friendship bracelet or decorative cord using the simple kumihimo technique! Coloured thread or yarn and a circle of cardboard are all you need to make a wide variety of patterns.

    Use the materials provided, or feel free to bring your own thread!

    Come join award-winning author & illustrator Rob Justus for a goofy character draw-along. Rob will highlight some of his work, but more importantly give a quick tutorial on some of the basics of drawing and creating fun-loving characters. These workshops are for any level of budding artists. Registration Required. Ages 8-12.

    Are all rabbits the same? What do they need? What is a hare and where does it live? Does it have predators? As they explore these questions through games and investigations, kids can enjoy a face-to-face visit with a rabbit, and pet its soft fur through this program with the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum. Family program for ages 4+.

    A 90-minute collaborative story building adventure for groups of children aged 6-10. Children share, combine and vote their favourite ideas into a story fit for a picture book! They also draw colorful pictures to add more detail to the choices they've made.
